Wouldn't it be nice to come home to a bouquet of fresh cut flowers? Well, you can have the next best thing. Go to a store like Michaels, TJMaxx, Home Goods, Marshalls, The Dollar Store, or any store that sells inexpensive, but beautiful, bud vases. Buy several to spread around the house.
The next time you are grocery shopping, stop by the cut flowers and buy a bouquet. Seasonal flowers are less expensive than roses and usually last longer. When you get home cut apart the bouquet into individual flowers and put one or two into each bud vase. Put a vase where you are sure to see it...by your computer, your TV, your sinks, your bedside table, your dining table, your kitchen counter, and be sure to place one or a group of three somewhere so you will immediately see them when you walk in the door after a hard day at work.
Be sure to add fresh water often and change the flower every week or two. Mums are in season right now and come in a variety of colors.
