How to Display Collectables

Hi Guys,

When displaying collectables, group similar items together in uneven numbers (3, 5, 7). This is more pleasing to the eye.

Items should be grouped together according to subject matter (birds, animals, boxes of all shapes, hearts, small vases, etc.) or color (blue crystal items, clear crystal bells, silver candle sticks, etc.).

When you are displaying small photographs, choose a sofa table, piano, or book shelf and display them only in one area of the room. Put similar frames and sizes of photographs together. Separate colored and black and white photographs. Put all colored photographs together and black and white photographs together.

Do not display more than two or three small groups in a room. Put the others away and switch them out every few months. This will keep your room new to you and your family and friends and will keep it from looking cluttered.
